75 AUTHORS/ILLUSTRATORS EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW This is a list of authors/illustrators that have been very important in children's literature. It has them broken down into Preschool-K, 1-3, 3-6, and 6-8.

JUDY BLUME This children's author has written such books as "Freckle Juice", "Superfudge", and "The Pain and the Great One". Her site has links to each one of her books, a biography, and a special children's page.

DR. SEUSS We all know and love Dr. Seuss. He has written many books such as "Green Eggs and Ham", "Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You?", "And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street", "Oh the Thinks You Can Think", "The Cat in the Hat", and "Hop on Pop". This site has many, many links.
